Covid-19 Update – Governing Body meetings
Whilst under normal circumstances the public are able to attend our Part 1 Governing Body meeting which is held in public, Government social isolation requirements constitute ‘special reasons’ to avoid face to face gatherings as permitted by legislation, therefore until further notice all Governing Body meetings will be held virtually by default.
Regarding public questions, we are happy to continue to take any questions received electronically at the end of Part 1 of the meeting, however we may need to defer any questions should the focus of the meeting need to be prioritised in relation to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Our CCG members – the group of local general practices known as our Council of Members - have delegated responsibility to a Governing Body that ensures we operate efficiently and act in the best interests of the population we serve. The Governing Body will also ensure compliance with the Nolan principles of good governance (selflessness, honesty, objectivity, openness, leadership, accountability and integrity).
Governing Body Meetings
Our Governing Body meets bi-monthly in public and you are welcome to attend. If you are attending we would very much appreciate you giving us prior notice to ensure we have enough room at the meeting for members of the public.
