Ethnic Diversity Within The Workforce – A Statement of Commitment

“The Black Lives Matter movement has ignited renewed calls for an end to racism, discrimination and injustice for black people worldwide.

The role that the NHS can play in tackling these issues was further highlighted by the recent publication of the NHS People Plan.

As a CCG, we do not tolerate racism or any form of hate crime.

We acknowledge that our working environments need to be spaces where our staff feel safe, welcomed and listened to.

We value and consider the views of our staff, partners and local communities.

We are currently undertaking programmes of work with our colleagues to ensure that this happens and to take actions to increase the scale and pace of progress in reducing health inequalities.”
